D-4 Council member Janani Rameshandran will be holding meetings throughout our district. She held the first “Raise up D-4” meeting in the Diamond neighborhood. These meetings are to bring a focus on our various neighbourhoods, our public safety needs and encourage better communication.
I have to admit I had never been to the Diamond neighborhood. It is lovely with a small town feel. Ramechandran had invited police, fire and Macro representatives to speak. They all showed up. Great information and good to put faces with names and ask questions. Hopefully at other “Lift up D-4” events you will attend and learn more about these small neighbourhood gems.
