Gateway Emergency Preparedness Exhibit Center & Firestorm Memorial Garden

Volunteers needed to weed fire-prone vegetation; plant drought resistant and native plants; and place mulch around plants to retain moisture in our beautiful demonstration and memorial gardens. Please contact us

Committee Opportunities

Sharing your expertise and skills helps make the North Hills Community Association stronger. We appreciate volunteers to assist the Board with:

  • Updating website
  • Soliciting ads for the newsletter
  • Writing copy for the newsletter
  • Fundraising
  • Taking photographs at events for the newsletter and website
  • Representing your neighborhood at Board of Director meetings
  • Serving as a member for NHCA Board of Directors

Claremont Canyon Conservancy

Two or three times a month Conservancy members gather to build and maintain trails, remove invasive weeds, collect trash and make Claremont Canyon a great place to hike, walk your dog, or just enjoy the vista. For more information please visit:  http://claremontcanyon.org/

Garber Park Stewards

Garber Park Stewards regularly conduct Habitat Restoration Workdays to pull non-native invasive weeds, maintain the Loop Trail and Claremont Avenue Path, and plant natives.
