Join me for a Community Town Hall on Public Safety THIS Saturday. This Saturday Oakland leaders are coming together with neighbors across the city for a day of mourning and conversation as our city continues to experience unacceptable gun violence and works to stem the violence and make our community safer for everyone.
Join the District 1 North Oakland gathering from 10:30am to noon at Bushrod Park. Hosted by Councilmember Dan Kalb. OPD Captain Rosin and Dept. of Violence Prevention program specialist Jennifer Argueta will also be participating.
Earlier in the morning, from 8:30am – 9:30am outside of Oakland City Hall, City Councilmembers, Donald Lacy Jr. of the LoveLife Foundation, and Oakland Cultural Strategist Kev Choice, and others, will gather to share our resources for violence prevention, jobs, and housing.
